American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative Conducted a social inclusion analysis in the context of humanitarian assistance for Venezuelan migrants, Colombian returnees, and receptor communities. Additionally, designed two GBV training modules for the Reducing Barriers to Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative (RBI) that will serve as an integral part of the educational curriculum for women micro- and small- entrepreneurs in Honduras and El Salvador.	Social Impact Led a team of 4 consultants to conduct a national gender and social inclusion analysis in Sri Lanka. Findings on gender based violence and women's economic empowerment informed USAID's next Country Development Cooperation Strategy. Identified opportunities for USAID to cooperate with the government, civil society, and the private sector to advance gender equity.	Pathfinder International Copy-edited 44-session empowerment curriculum for girls ages 10-13, with an accompanying boys curriculum, and guide for parents. Harmonized content across three guides and provided editorial suggestions about gender norms and sexual and reproductive health. Helped to adapt the content from Ethiopia into a global guide while flagging aspects that should be tailored in future implementation in different contexts.	Danish Refugee Council Afghanistan Conduct a gender audit to enhance the collective capacity of the DRC-DDG in Afghanistan to examine its activities from a gender perspective to identify strengths and weaknesses in promoting gender equality issues. The aims of the gender audit are to improve programmatic planning, set a mechanism to monitor and assess gender mainstreaming processes, while also building organizational capacities in understanding gender issues to increase organizational ownership for gender equality initiatives.
Girls Not Brides - CECAP Mozambique Lead participatory and strategic planning for CECAP, the national chapter of GNB in Mozambique. Develop case studies to illustrate activities that have successfully challenged child marriage and could be relevant in other settings.	Banyan Global Conducted a national gender and social inclusion assessment in Colombia with a focus on the humanitarian response to the refugee situation in the border region with Venezuela and gender based violence. Qualitative data collection included key stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and field visits to meet with program beneficiaries from vulnerable populations such as LGBTI, indigenous groups, and Afro-Colombians.	Wi-HER in Dominica Conducted a gender assessment in health care facilities to identify gender based gaps and constraints related to Zika, well baby care, and disabilities. Worked with the Ministries of Health to improve health care delivery, data collection, and analysis as part of the USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) program.	Girls Not Brides Latin America Advance the GNB engagement plan for Latin America and the Caribbean by developing a regional expert assessment for the regional strategy to address child marriage and early unions in Latin America and the Caribbean. This includes a literature review to write a technical document summarizing current evidence from the region, conducting a regional youth dialogue on early unions, organizing a convening of regional experts, and forming a regional advisory committee.
Iris Group Mozambique Conducted a national gender assessment with Iris Group to assess: recent advances and gaps in gender equality and women’s empowerment (GEWE) in four focus sectors in Mozambique, how these advances and gaps are addressed in current programming in Mozambique (funded by USAID and other donors), and the opportunities for USAID/Mozambique, in collaboration with the GOM, CSOs, NGOs, the private sector, and other donors, to advance GEWE within its strategic planning and program implementation plans.	International Planned Parenthood IPPF established the Social Enterprise Acceleration Program (SEAP) aimed at strengthening the capacity of Member Associations to apply entrepreneurial best practices in the health sector while delivering social value and improving lives. Provided high quality technical advice to support the effective development and delivery of sustainable sexual and reproductive health interventions through social enterprise.	ALIGN Reviewed open-source materials on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and youth friendly health services (YFHS) to determine the extent that they address gender norms. Synthesized this research in a concise brief, created an infographic, and added resources to the Advance Learning and Innovation on Gender Norms (ALIGN) knowledge hub.	CenRID - NGO Launch in Uganda Works closely with CenRID, a grassroots NGO recently launched in Uganda, to provide vision and leadership to ensure optimal program design and strategic partner engagement to achieve high quality results for adolescent development and gender programming. Together we have assembled an active board of directors, developed proposals to secure funding, and conducted a readiness assessment to learn more about the needs of the community we will serve and begin to build relationships and networks.
Social Science Research Council Integrated public health expertise about theoretical frameworks of prevention to consider innovative ways to apply a new perspective to violence and conflict prevention. Conducted literature review and synthesized findings into research brief.	Safe Hands for Girls Reviewed organizational strategy to prevent female genital mutilation against existing funding, identified matching funding opportunities, and developed proposals.	Tech 2 Empower Technology is key to advancing, uniting and strengthening the gender and social justice movements. Tech2Empower brought women together from across the US for a week of training in San Francisco to use technology more effectively. We spent time at leading tech companies such as Twitter, YouTube, and Google to learn from experts about digital storytelling, audience engagement, and data analytics to optimize websites.	Plan International Conducted participatory research and qualitative stakeholder interviews and literature review to identify innovative and effective interventions to prevent child marriage that could be scaled up in the Asian region.
Movimento M Conducted a situational analysis in Mozambique to launch Movimento M, a community of practice of more than 40 organizations that have committed to evidence based programming for girls by implementing a process of intentional design.	ACLU Legislative Hearing Gender Equality and Transgender Rights On March 28, 2017, the ACLU of MS participated in a legislative hearing on gender equality and transgender rights. Policymakers heard from members of the transgender and gender non-conforming (GNC) community as well as allies from the faith, business, health, legal, and education communities. Alana Kolundzija provided testimony about how non-discrimination policies that specifically include LGBT people have a significant effect on reducing stigma and improving trans health outcomes.	Girl Move - Mozambique Facilitate a learning circle for organizations working in Mozambique to utilize intentional design to reach the most vulnerable girls in their communities and incorporate a protective asset building approach into their programming.	Oxfam Map out Oxfam’s existing work on SRHR as well as key stakeholders to identify alignment, potential partnership, and opportunities for joint work and collaboration. Analyze and develop 5 thematic briefs to articulate the potential niche for Oxfam to advance SRHR.
Plan International Designed and facilitated a workshop for youth advocates in Malawi to incorporate SRHR themes into their work to end child, early, and forced marriage. Fostered participatory learning that resulted in a youth led action plan.	New Venture Fund Conducted literature review for a Global Policy Advocacy fund of the Gates Foundation aimed at planning a new project on youth reproductive health in the global South.	MS Public Health Institute Managed UProot program in partnership with the Mississippi State Health Department and Public Health Institute to create a culture of health in Mississippi and document success stories throughout the state using digital media platforms.	Taco Truck Theater "NO GUACAMOLE for Immigrant Haters!" is our motto for this radical theater on wheels performance. The dynamic ArteFuturo Super Ensemble probes the anti-immigrant hysteria gripping the "United States of Amnesia" with a ritual performance driven by a hybrid musical score. We challenge the dehumanization of immigrants as "illegal aliens" and the parallel struggle of people of color criminalized by a hostile political climate.
Population Council DREAMS in Malawi Provided technical assistance to local NGOs to improve their capacity to help girls build protective assets to prevent HIV under the DREAMS Initiative. Trained organizations to collect data using mobile phones, deploy GIS to inform program planning, and to monitor and evaluate ongoing activities.	Sexuality Policy Watch Helped to build a multidisciplinary consortium of researchers and advocates around the world, especially among the global south, that contributes to sexuality related global policy debates through strategic policy-oriented research and analysis of current trends. Developed communications materials, organized multiple workshops focusing on translating sexuality research into political change, and wrote reports to document proceedings and to submit to donors.	Promundo - Brazil Revised and updated sections of the Program H manual that promote gender equality through evidence-based group educational activities.	Averting Maternal Death & Disability Facilitated two week-long capacity building and writing workshops in Senegal and Ghana to support the publication and dissemination of EmONC data collected through out East Africa.
